What should women wear to a techno rave?

Black, and something you can dance in for six hours: a baby tee or bikini top with cargos or wide jeans, a backless romper or a cropped jersey. Add a fan, a small zipped bag and trainers you’ve already worn in.

What should I wear to my first rave?

A baby tee, loose trousers and trainers you already know you can stand in. Bring a layer for the queue and a small bag that zips. You don’t need a theme.

Do women have to wear revealing clothes to a rave?

No. Wear what you’ll be comfortable in at 4am. An oversized jersey and trousers work as well as a bikini top; check any themed event’s dress code.

What shoes should I wear to a rave?

Trainers or flat boots you’ve already broken in. You’ll be standing for hours, so leave new shoes and heels at home.

Can I wear jeans to a rave?
