Getting into fashion is hard. Whether you're a fashion graduate or someone who has always loved clothes, the usual route is years of unpaid internships and CVs sent to brands that never reply. This is a real way in: a paid, permanent, full-time role at the heart of a fast-growing independent fashion brand in Ditchling, East Sussex.
The role
Every FERAL garment passes through our Ditchling warehouse, and you'll be at the centre of it. You'll check new stock as it arrives from our makers and inspect every piece before it reaches a customer. You'll also get orders out to customers in more than 45 countries. You'll work every day alongside the team that designs, develops and launches our products. You'll see what sells and why, what customers love and what comes back, and how a fashion brand actually runs behind the scenes.
It's hands-on work, and it's the best grounding in fashion you can get. You'll join us as we go into Black Friday and Christmas, our biggest season, and you'll learn more about product, quality and customers in a few months than most people do in years at a head office.
What you'll do
- Receive and check new stock and production as it arrives
- Be the last eyes on every garment before it reaches a customer: the loose thread, the wrong label, the print that's slightly off
- Pick, pack and dispatch orders to customers worldwide
- Keep our stock organised, accurate and ready for every drop
- Work closely with our operations and product team as new products land
- Spot problems early and bring ideas to improve how we work
Who we're looking for
- You've studied fashion, textiles or production, or you're obsessed with clothes and how they're made
- You notice the small details before anyone else
- You're organised, quick and happy to get stuck in
- You know that great careers in fashion start close to the product
- You want real responsibility and a business to grow with, not a job to clock in and out of
Bonus
- Warehouse, stockroom or fulfilment experience
- Garment QC, or knowledge of fabrics and construction
- Experience with Shopify or fulfilment platforms
- An understanding of imports, exports or customs paperwork
Why FERAL?
You'll join while we're still early, which means direct access to the people making decisions and room to grow as fast as you can prove yourself. Our operations director started as a fashion graduate and grew into leading it. Our marketing director joined at 18 and grew into senior leadership within two years. There's no fixed ladder here: as FERAL grows, new roles open up, and we fill them with people who've already shown us what they can do.
This is a rare chance to get inside a fashion brand that's still wide open and help build what comes next.
About FERAL
FERAL is a new-generation clothing brand built through content, community and cultural instinct.
In less than three years we've grown from one T-shirt into a global fashion community, with over 390,000 followers on Instagram and customers in more than 45 countries. We're young, independent and moving fast: shaped by social media, driven by our audience and built by a team that does things differently.
We're not a traditional fashion company. We test ideas in public and turn attention into products, campaigns and moments people actually care about. Our team is young, ambitious and close to the work. Nobody waits years in the background to be trusted with real responsibility. If you have good ideas, strong instincts and the drive to make things happen, you'll be heard.
